How much more do you have to lose and what's your current loss rate set at?0

Sorry typed for ages .. all the text disappeared!
Basically Ive lost 66lb still have 47lb to go, if i decrease my weight loss rate to 1lb a week is this too slow for how much i still have to lose? Struggling at current cal level , been okay since july 16 (start date) but now just don't feel full or sustained on that cal level. But if i decrease loss to 1lb a week, it increases my cals by 200 a day (seems loads)
I thought it was recommended that you set to 1lb a week when u have less than 40lb to lose?

Decreasing to 1 pound/week sounds like a good idea to me. There are no hard and fast rules, but you're certainly in the range of that being a good goal.0

I've seen people around here say that 2 lbs/week is generally reserved for people who have upwards of 75-100 lbs to lose. I think bumping your rate down to 1 lb/week is a good idea, particularly since 2 lbs/week is proving to be more difficult for you now. Congrats on your 66 lb loss!1

1 pound a week is a good idea, you dont want to struggle then give up
well done on loss so far0 -
I've recently changed my rate from 1 to 1/2 lb/wk. I just have more of an appetite this winter0

One pound per week is a great plan. A sustainable calorie level is required in order for you to continue to stick with the plan and make progress.0

Another vote for one pound per week.0

Thank you for taking the time to reply. My current loss rate is 1.5lb per week. Im 5ft 9inch female. Current weight is 201lb and goal is 154lb
Im worried that the sudden increase of 200kcal a day will gain me weight?

Nope. First it will be 250 a day (just to be pedantic), but that won't be enough to overcome your loss, assuming your tracking and all that is going well.0 -
MFP also doesn't automatically adjust your daily targets when you lose weight, you have to go into your settings and refresh them. I'd switch down to 1lb per week at your current weight and try it for a month. You can always adjust it back if you find yourself still struggling. Besides, you don't HAVE to eat all extra 200 calories per day, they are there if you need/want them. Great job so far & GL with the rest of your journey.0

If you're currently set a 1.5 lb/week, a 250 cal increase will still have you 500 calories under maintenance. If (and that's a big if), you gain slightly after increasing your daily calories, know that it's most likely due to normal weight fluctuations and not the addition of more fat in your body, assuming your logging is accurate.1 -
I recently switched mine from 2lbs a week to 1lb a week it only gave me an extra 50 calories daily (i'm 5ft tall) I still have 39lbs to lose to get to my goal but like above users stated I want to do it right to make sure it sticks for the rest of my life.0

It could be a couple of things. If it had you at 1200 and now you are at 1250, then be aware MFP has a lower limit of 1200 for women.
Or you could have done a long needed update to your weight that would have reduced your calories without changing the loss rate.

250 calories works out to about half of a PB&J. Being able to eat extra PB&J is definitely cause for excitement!
