To workout before or after breakfast?

When trying to lose weight and burn fat is it better for a female to workout before or after breakfast? And if you workout before breakfast, do you have a snack such as a piece of fruit or coffee before that workout?

It doesn't matter. Some people feel better after eating, some workout better on an empty stomach. There is no better, it's just what you prefer.0

for weight loss or fat burning it doesn't matter - if you're in a calorie deficit you'll lose weight.
pick whichever time of day is best for you. i workout after work, before tea. i get up early enough as it is so don't want to work out on a morning.0 -
I workout at different times of the day depending on where I can fit it in. If it is an intense workout day, I eat after the workout. If it is a recovery day workout, it does not matter, because I do not push myself too hard on recovery workouts.0

There is a study that suggests women should exercise after eating, I saw a programme about it on the BBC:

The problem with studies like this is that they're meaningless in respect to weight loss. Whether you burn 100 cal with fat as fuel or 100 cal with carbohydrates as fuel you've sill burned 100 cals and, ultimately, reducing body fat comes down to energy balance (ie consuming less than you expend). The only people who are/should be really concerned about burning fat as fuel are endurance athletes.1
