Muscle Up Tips

Ok let's hear your "ah ha!" tips on getting your muscle up. (Mostly CrossFitters will know what I am talking about here. ). I am confident I am strong enough to do a MU, but I am no where near it. I have watched the videos. I have tried the drills. But it just is not clicking. My coaches so far have not been much help. I am sure it is just some technique.. an "ah ha!" moment that I need to have happen for it to click. What are your tips?

Bar or ring?
Strict or kipped?
Transition and timing are extremely important. The drills should be teaching you that. Gymnastics bodies, GMB have good tutorials. Crossfit gymnastics has an excellent tutorial series they are running or just recently ran on instagram. Negatives on the bar seemed to really help me.
My personal order of difficulty from easiest to hardest
Strict ring
kipped bar
kipped ring
strict bar.
I'm finally closing the gap to my kipped bar & kipped ring MU's. The rings used to be pretty difficult for me.0
