I have been artificial sugar free since 1st of January and am normally as massive snacker and chocoholic.

Are you allowed natural sugar or no sugar at all?

I found a fab sugar free lemon drizzle cake recipe which uses; wholemeal flour/egg/lemon zest/milk and they are a fab pudding and hit the sugar spot.

I have also been making cookies for lunch which include; Greek yogurt/oats/egg/natural honey.

Also... last one I swear! Wholemeal scotch pancakes and then you can add whatever toppings you fancy, fruit is really good!

Good Luck :-) after about a week your craving for sugar should die right down.

    No problem :-)

    Sugar Free Lemon Drizzle Cake:

    125g Self Raising Flour (sifted)
    100g wholegrain flour
    1/4 tsp baking powder
1 whole lemon zest (skin grated)
    1 egg
    125ml water
    1/2 tbsp milk
    100g fat free Greek yoghurt
    3 tsp Rowse's pure honey

1 lemon for topping after (juice only- I use the same lemon as zested)

    Directions:
    1. Pre heat oven to 160c (gas mark 4)
    2. Mix together flour, baking powder and lemon zest in a bowl.
    3. In a separate bowl mix the egg, yoghurt and milk.
    4. Once mixed gradually add the water until all mixed in.
    5. Add honey and mix.
    6. Divide out between cake cases (if you make 8 cakes out of mix they are 110 calories each)
    7. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden on top.
    8. Take out of oven and add lemon juice to the top of each cake.

    Enjoy

    Yoghurt and Oat Biscuits

    50g Oatmeal
    50g Oats
    1 Egg
    10g Honey
    100g Greek Yoghurt
    75ml Semi Skimmed Milk

    Instructions:
    1. Pre heat oven to gas mark 4.
    2. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
    3. Coat a baking tray with fry light (I use the butter one).
    4. Split the mixture out into the tray in individual portions. (I usually get 7 biscuits out of the mixture and they are 75 calories each).
    5. Bake for 10 minutes then flip them over.
    6. Bake for 10 minutes then flip back onto top.
    7. Bake for further ten minutes then remove from oven and leave to cool.

    Wholemeal Pancakes

    125g Wholemeal Flour
    40g Oats
    2 tsps Baking Powder
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1 large egg
    240ml semi skimmed milk
    65g Greek Yoghurt

    Instructions:
    1. Combine flour, Oats, baking powder, ground ginger.
    2. Make a well in centre and add the egg and yoghurt. Lightly mix.
    3. Slowly add the milk. Do not over mix as can go quite dense.
    4. Heat a frying pan on the hob and spray with fry light (or equivalent).
    5. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup for quantities. (Your should be able to get 9 Pancakes out of the mixture making them 88 calories each).
    6. Pour each mixture individually into the centre of the pan, cook on either side then remove from pan to cool.
    7. Follow this step for each of the Pancakes until all mixture is used.

They can be frozen down easily to store. Taste really nice when heated up in microwave :-D

    Enjoy!!!!

I'm a huge chocoholic and dark chocolate sweetened with Stevia has been everything. I get the brand Lily's but there are tons of other brands out there. Stevia is a natural sweetener so it perfectly fine on Paleo. It is zero calorie when it liquid form but if you get it in a powder then it is mixed with a filler and it adds extra carbs. But because I also limit my carbs I make sure to not get out of hand with the chocolate and I only consume liquid Stevia or the occasional Erythritol for baking. I eat it in chunks or I melt it and make different desserts with it.
