What's really important...

I've been on MFP for a while and found it really helpful. But...I keep losing and gaining the same 10 pounds. Sometimes I'm trim and feeling great about myself. Other times I'm mushy and feel lousy about "letting myself go." Well today I had my annual exam at the Gynecologist's. They took my blood pressure. Perfect. They asked about other tests this year. Colonoscopy, check. Mammogram, check. Physical with blood work, check. And at 51, I'm healthy and on no meds. I'm active and happy. So while I'm committed to logging my food and increasing my exercise, and losing the ten pounds AGAIN, so that I'm back in my "thin" clothes, I've remembered that what's most important is being healthy. Perspective is a very good thing!
