As I was waiting for my dental appointment to begin, I noticed a People Magazine Cover with Oprah: "How I lost 42.5 pounds." That was just the beginning. The issue contained about 40 pages of people, famous and not, who'd lost weight. It provided little bios, sample meal plans, some recipes, and even an article about people whose dogs lost 50% of their excess weight.

The theme throughout:
  • Drink lots of water;
  • If you mess up, don't beat yourself over it. Just pick up again the next day; and
  • Allow yourself treats now and again.

I'm definitely going to buy and issue and read it more closely.
