This can feel like the hardest part. You've already made so much progress, but there's so much left to go. The weight loss slows, and you constantly need to up it. My initial goal was 45 pounds. I'm about 25 pounds down now, but it's taken me a year, and 20 pounds is still a lofty goal for me. Anyone else in a similar boat? I'm sure we could all use the encouragement /)

Oh yeah. I'm with you on that. I started with 80 lbs to lose, and I'm now at 34 lbs lost. Pretty close to half. I actually got to exactly half a year ago, but lost my momentum and stopped trying. I gained a 15 lbs back over 2016 and am now just 6 lbs away from where I left off. It's hard to keep going for so long, so I'm trying to think of it has a permanent change of lifestyle and am reading a lot about maintenance habits, so I can build them in now. It also helps me to have fitness goals, so that as the rate of loss slows down, I can still see progress happening.

Yep, I initially started with a goal to lose 60 lbs but then I decided there was no reason to stop at the top end of the healthy BMI range so now I'm aiming for 80 lbs total lost. As of today I've lost 48.6 of those lbs and it's taken me since April of 2015 (although I did take some logging breaks in there and gained some weight back). I know if I stick with it and don't take anymore breaks then it shouldn't take another 2 years to lose the rest of the weight but it still seems daunting.
