    I'm sorry but it doesn't really count that you're Irish unless either one of your parents were Irish...or, I suppose if one of your grandparents were Irish then maybe yeah. Almost every American says they have "Irish blood" in them....

    I do not live in Ireland but my ancestors on my Father's side, came to the US from Ireland. From what I can find one was from County Clare Ireland. I believe another was from Limerick.
