How do I get my motivation back?

I was doing so well then Christmas and New Year hit.

I wish I had not come off my weight loss plan and indulged during this period.

Every week since I start again but fail. Cannot get motivated

I had lost nearly 50 lbs and need to lose loads more.

Scared that I will not be able to get my self belief back.

I know only I can do this, but what did you do when you fell by the wayside.

Any tips?

    If you aren't motivated, you aren't motivated. But what do you need motivation for? What kind of plan are you dreading to go back to?

    Make a plan that is effective. And keep in mind that no plan is effective if you don't stick to it. Know that you can't stick to a plan if you don't want to stick to it. Weight loss takes a long time. Weight maintenance takes even longer.

    I loved my healthy food when focused

    My motivation was my my health mainly.

    Keep overeating and trying the foods I thought I was missing out on, but honestly cakes, biscuit s, pastry etc are not that nice now.

    I guess it's January blues, I do feel low at the moment.

    Starting Tai Chi at home and find it relaxing for the mind

    Guess I know my answer, only I can do this.

    Any support will be appreciated

    Doing something you can only do as long as you are "focused", and your motivation being "health"... even feeling that you are missing out... well, you know now that it's not going to work. Not now, not ever. (Most of us have to try this a few times until it clicks, you are not alone. I struggled for more than 20 years.)
