This was today's skiing. 4 Greens, 2 Blacks, 10 Blues. Fitbit gave me 0 active minutes and 8 minutes in the Fat Burn zone. Calorie burn is 1587 since midnight (now 6:24pm) (129lbs, 31, F). I'm a little bummed about these low numbers.

Well, you are obviously too good a skier and you are too efficient with your movement!

I have no idea how much energy it takes to ski down hills, and I wouldn't trust a Fitbit to know either. They're programmed to guess at step based activities.

That's an awesome day at Big Sky! I also wouldn't worry about what your fit bit said. I use Trace Ski and it gives what I assume are accurate numbers for calorie burn, lift time, skiing time, etc. You were outdoors enjoying some beautiful weather today, that's what matters. How was the snow? I'm hoping we get some tonight or tomorrow so I can hit Bridger Bowl. It was way too icy a week ago when I went.

It started snowing around 3pm today. Still snowing now. Conditions are great, and the place is deserted. Started getting hard to see around 2:30 with the cloud cover. Took a 20ft spill under the lifts of course when I got fetched up on some powder. I love it here.

No snow in Bozeman yet. Yes, Big Sky is an amazing ski area, lots of runs to ski. Have you ridden the tram to the top of Lone Peak? Beautiful view on a clear day.

Took the new heated six-person Powder Seeker lift today. That thing is amazing. Got 19 runs in today for 30 miles and 24,000 vertical feet. Two more days of skiing. I ran 2 miles yesterday (7600') in 22:00. I can almost do 3 miles in the same time at home. Elevation nearly killed me.
