Bipolar Problems-medicated

Anyone notice problems with motivation when getting into a routine. I have mental issues (bipolar II) fully medicated. However it can my me blood boil when I go in and see a guy curling in the squat rack, then leaving his bar just there while he move and took over three sets of barbells and three benches. I felt like a ****. Especially since he moved from doing to curls in the squat rack he does this weird thing where he steps over the bar and starts butt humping it in over to do some this for his traps.I'm getting a bit incoherent, but it annoyed at all hell that he took over half the farking gym.

What do you do about guys in the gym. Most guys are really nice about it and don't take the frack over...

Hey! I have bipolar-rapid cycle and it's very hard to keep motivation going AND deal with all the stressors in life, even the seemingly small ones like annoying guys taking over your workout area! You say you're medicated but also getting incoherent. Is it possible you need to see your doctor and possibly adjust your dosages? Oftentimes when my thoughts race and I get really really irritable, it because something is off with my meds. I encourage you to talk to your psychiatrist very openly and honestly and tell them what's going on. Feel free to add me if you need some support :)

Naw, the incoherency is because of the Ambien.

My husband is bi-polar. Nothing seemed to truly let him deal with his stressers, mood swings and anger issues until they put him on abilify. In fact, some of the other medications made him BEYOND control.

I was diagnosed in 2005, I have been on a roller coaster of meds and some of them truly sucked. Some made me worse. I no longer need those mood stabilizers or tranqz as I call them. It seems w/losing some weight I feel better about myself and I only need an anti-depressant and anxiety meds now. Please see your p-doc, it is not easy to treat BP and the road is very hard, so take it one day at a time and try not to punch anybody :)

I came off of the first one because it was affecting my memory so bad, the second one was by accident but I'm glad I did, I feel like myself most days. Still don't deal well with stupidity tho...and motivation is still a b*tch
