I was reading a post by Scott Sonnon and he was making the point that 100g of carbs a day will give you your natural physique with minimal exercise... what do you think??

Here's his post for reference:You will effortlessly restore your natural physique if you eat less than 100g carbs per day. If you eat good fat and protein in addition, you will also restore your natural athletic physique with even only a little exercise per day. It would only take a month for huge results. You could virtually do this for free. The real reason people need a coach is because of not having the willpower to do the above. And that's okay. If you can admit it, then we can fix it. If you can't, then you'll dance around not getting your results indefinitely.
I'm blown away by how dumb this is. I can't even.. OP don't listen to this guy.

OP, this sounds like a load of hogwash.
Want to lose weight? Eat in a calorie deficit first and foremost, fill your diet with foods that you enjoy and foods that are satiating. That will be sustainable long term.
Exercise is not required for losing weight, though getting enough protein and a resistance training program will help you maintain muscle mass while losing weight, which is what will really "reveal your natural athletic physique" as your BF% comes down.1 -

I mean, you might glycogen deplete a little at 100g net, which will make you pee off a bit of water, including some subcutaneous water, which will dry you out a bit and make you look less "soft". However, unless you're already somewhat lean, you won't even be able to see the difference.4
