Quitting weight watchers Starting My Fitness pal

I started weight watchers 8 months ago, lost 11 lbs, sorta got off track, couldn't go to meetings, it just wasn't working. I've kept the 11 lbs off but still need to lose 25 more. I've been having issues with reflux, plus liver count is high, had multiple test done but all are normal. I asked my doctor what can I do to help my liver. He said in a very nice way, lose weight. I'm not obese but still overweight. BMI is 28.
Should be under 25. He thinks I have a fatty liver. Not sure what that means but I don't like it. I go back to see him in 3 months to check my liver count, my goal is to lose as much weight as possible via diet & exercise. I would appreciate any advise you can offer as for what I can do as for as exercise routine. I am 55 yrs old so please take it easy on me. Lol
Thanks!

You can do it. Fatty liver disease is more common than people realise. Only you and your dr can look at the reason for this. You can do a lot to help your weight with making healthy food choices and increasing exercise. I wish you good luck

I am 53. I just quit WW because it simply wasn't working for me either. All those 0 point foods still have calories obviously! My BMI is 28 also and I have to take meds for acid reflux as well. Good luck!!! Sounds like we are pretty much in the same boat...
