no detox, that doesn't make sense. Just do the same things you did to lose the 4 lbs in the first place.26

Just go back to normal dieting. If you want any help, increase fiber and water consumption. And if you want, cut out junk food for week to feel better; so eat lots of whole foods.11

I was thinking even some kind of water or something - I have felt very bloated and I suffer with ibs-c so having issues with that too1

Unless you have heavy metal poisoning, are a recovering drug addict, or are experiencing renal failure, "detoxes" are completely useless. Your liver and kidneys are more than capable of detoxifying your system. Save your money and get back to your calorie goal.
ETA: If you're feeling bloated, you're likely retaining water because of a high sodium intake. Drinking more water will help you flush out the excess.19 -
Detoxes aren't really a thing (well I guess they are for drug users)....but anyway it's just a FAD. Your liver and kidneys are great at flushing out impurities. Just eat better and drink lots of water. You'll be back to your old weight in no time.5

Going back to normal eating and exercising should help get rid of the bloat. And if you have IBS, I would not go near any OTC detox, which are junk anyways. If anything, look into incorporating probiotics.7 -
start fresh and don't worry about detoxing - they are a joke - your body naturally detox's4

Thank you guys ... I have increased back to my usual gallon of water a day - just hope it helps with the bloated feeling bc that kinda hurts after a while lol .... and I guess I don't necessarily mean detox - but maybe add to the water??1

You ate like crap and have IBS. I would kind of expect you to feel bloated. Keep doing the water.9 -
There's nothing to add to the water.
Depending on how you lost the 4 lbs, it may go away quickly or not at all. If you lost the 4 lbs through serious carb/sodium restriction, it was likely water weight so what you gained could have just taken you up to your normal equilibrium. But if you lost it through moderate calorie restriction, it should gradually fall off once you're back to your normal diet.3 -

Just through diet and exercise ... which I'm back to starting today .... plus more water intake ... I didn't get my full gallon a day on vacation but came close ....0 -

Does your GI have you on any probiotics?0 -
Did you fly? I came back 13lbs heavier from holiday last year. Dropped 11 of them within a week. I just closely resemble a balloon after a long flight!6

A gallon of water is kind of excesssive. There is such a thing as too much water.6
