I'm looking for some good on the go snack suggestions. There are days when I am driving from meeting to meeting and if I don't eat an on the go snack in the car, I don't get to eat until I get home at night. This is not everyday but on these days, I find it throws me off with my eating if I don't get something in. Nuts and apples seem to be my go to, but I am looking for some new ideas. Any recommendations? What is your favorite easy on the go snack that you can eat in your car but still gives you some good fuel and energy.

I grab an Oatmega protein bar or a pure protein bar. Sometimes it's a Sargento Balanced Break (nuts, cheese, and dried fruit). Basically, I pair a carb with some protein every time, and I try to stay under 200 calories. I love Granny Smith apples with peanut butter. I also like chocolate rice cakes with sunbutter. Carrots or bell pepper and hummus.

P2 makes nice like snack packs that are usually under 200 calories. Apples and almonds, carrots and cheese, etc.

Protein bars (easy to eat while driving)
Greek yogurt and a piece of your favorite fruit. (not recommended while driving)
    String cheese and some crackers
Dried fruits (I love dates! but they tend to be a bit sticky) and nuts

As mentioned above, I try to make sure my snacks hit all macros to make sure they have some staying power. Plain fruit doesn't cut it for me.

I hard-boil and peel a dozen eggs for the week. They are perfect one-handed protein-packed snacks. If pressed for time, packaged hard-boiled, peeled eggs can be purchased at most grocery stores, but much more expensive way to go.
