So I am a week into my lifestyle change and I have officially started craving unhealthy foods. Mostly I crave something salty and sweet. Does anyone have suggestions on healthy snacks that would curb this craving? Thank you. My diet is focused on lowering my cholesterol.

Apple and nut butter! Hit your sweet and salty in one snack. I buy the PB to Go singles and eat it with apple slices every morning at work.

I do either a banana with almond butter or apple with peanut butter -- yum! I also will do a 4oz serving of Noosa yogurt or go for a fage yogurt.

Sweet - fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, halo top

Salty - If you don't have any health issues with sodium, just use salt.

I like to dip apple slices in honey when I'm dealing with a sweets craving.

I like air popped popcorn mixed with Krave cereal. Hits my sweet and crunchy (and you could add salt if you need, of course)
