I get knocked down, but I get up again!

I started my new life style change Feb 16th, 2016 weighing 418lbs. I hit the gym daily and by Sept I was down 90lbs! I had gone from size 52 jeans and 5x shirts to 3x shirts and 44 jeans. I was doing 3.5 miles a night on the treadmill on a 15 incline every night. I had plans to do my first 5k. I then fell and tore my meniscus after someone had mopped at walmart without putting up a wet floor sign. I couldn't walk farther than a half mile. I had surgery on Oct 15th and that was the beginning of my downfall.
I was off work for a month. For about the first two weeks I was sitting on the couch eating the day away. After that I could get up a move a little, but had already fallen off the wagon. I stopped logging my food after 233 days. I went back to my old habits. Chinese buffets every other day and pizza buffets on the days I didn't have chinese. I stopped paying for my gym membership.
At one point I got tired of seeing my scale so I tossed it under the sink. My friends would ask how my weight loss was going and I'd just change the subject. I was still looking at the calories and such of what I was eating, I just didnt care. Bring on the oreos!
Last week I decided that I've got to change. Since my surgery I've gained 38lbs. I've went up to 4x shirts and 48 jeans. I refused to go back to where I was before. I paid up my gym. I walked a mile last night. I barely made it a mile. I couldn't breath and my heart was trying to jump out of my chest but I made it. I've found a 5k that is in my local town April 22nd. My goal is to build myself up to walk that 5k.
