Recipes and serving sizes

My husband put a bunch of recipes into the system and it's great that it gives me calories and nutrition but I don't know what the service size is!
For example: He made a batch of hummus following Dr. Fuhrman's recipe. The Dr.'s recipe just gives a total volume but doesn't say if a serving is 2 oz, 2 tbsp or what. So I know calories and nutrients but not how much I eat to get that. Any ideas?

This is what I usually do: Weigh the entire batch of hummus (let's assume it's 300g). Go back and edit the recipe to say that it made 300 servings, meaning each serving will weigh 1g. Weigh out whatever you eat in grams and enter the number of grams as the number of servings you consumed in your food diary.1

Measure/weigh how much you get in a batch. Figure out how many servings that's probably going get you. Total up the calories and divide by the number of servings. (So, if you think you'll have 1/4 cup as a serving and you get 1.5 cups total, divide by 6, for example.)0
