Have been since I was 19, but only competed in my 20's. Now I just maintain what I've achieved, but still follow a lot of body building methods for myself.

Well I lift heavy things and I have been bulking since October, not really considered my self a body builder at all.

I have a bodybuilding story, I damn sure do.

I'll share it later today when I'm not typing from a smartphone at work...

I remember when I first started and thought cut season sucked, and bulk season was easy because I could just eat more. Now cut season is easy because being bigger I can have more calories, and bulk season sucks because I have to eat to the point that I stay miserable all day if I want to actually gain lol

I know how you feel. Hitting macros on a cut is already a lot of food for me. I have never bulked before properly...but I did just eat a lot and life heavier

So a high skool teammate of mine broke his arm playing football. The doctor suggested lifting weights and like many teenage boys in the Midwest he set up a weight room in his parents garage.

We both graduate and go our separate ways. Flash forward 5 years and I'm walking thru a bookstore in Atlanta. I pick up a copy of muscle and fitness magazine and he's on the cover. He went on to consistent top 5 finishes in the Mr. Olympia competition several years in a row.

The commitment to reach that level is staggering.

Not really.. I keep getting told that I should do bikini model competitions and that I have the perfect figure for it but I just love eating to much and I'm not sure I have the discipline.
I'm doing a cut in a few weeks after this bulk (I've added almost 5 kg  ) and maybe I'll do one this summer if I think I can commit to it.

Interesting you all... well i went out shopping for a tv with a buddy i havent seen in three months. When i picked him up he looks at me and says... f###k what have you lost 15 kilo. I said 12... he says you have got muscle on muscles.... ur going to bust out of your shirt.
I dont go out shopping or really in a public place at- all. The mauri guy on security at the mall just looks at me and puts his head down, we had a clear path were ever we walked no one would interupt our flow through the mall.
I think my body shape is finally in a good place!
