Can I eat quark all day!?

Ok, not all day but 2-3 times a day (around 200 grams each time)?
Here's the thing. Cottage cheese has been a huge staple of mine, but 200 grams puts me at 1600mg of sodium. There's no medical necessity, but I want to try reducing my sodium for a bit. I'm also looking at possibly reducing sugar a bit, so I'm thinking about quark in the morning instead of my usual cottage cheese and at night instead of my usual ice cream - and I already eat it regularly at lunch.
I'm a creature of habit, and that combined with using different add-ins means boredom isn't an issue. I don't have any sensitivity to dairy. It's just that three times a day seems like a lot. So what's y'all's take on it?
Thanks!

I had to look that one up...lol. As long as it fits into your calorie and health goals I can't imagine it would bother anything. Some people report constipation with too much cheese, but others are okay with it.0

Yeah I probably should have just said greek yogurt.. Thanks though!1

Ugh, I can't stand Quark.... tastes so nasty.
Other than that, I think 3x a day is a bit excessive. I'd do 2x a day max, but that's a personal preference. I think I'd miss ice cream too much.0 -

Well, 3 servings of dairy a day is usually what doctors recommend anyway so it shouldn't be a problem to have them all from the same source as long as your digestive system reacts well to it0

You have to have the gluons too or it won't be any good.1

Low sodium cottage cheese is available in some stores. I found it at Safeway. Medical need for me.0

I love cottage cheese, and yes, most brands have a boatload of sodium. They do make some with less though, but it's going to be hard to find. Maybe in a large chain superstore market. http://www.friendshipdairies.com/our-products/cottage-cheese/lowfat-no-salt-cottage-cheese Now if I could just find this stuff for sale near me. ;(0

Hahaha omg
This is all that I thought of and I was like, "...I don't think you'd want to...?"
But in all seriousness, I agree with the above.
My thoughts went the same way. What the hell is wrong with me
OP Quark can be very versatile, I have added sweetener spread it on a digestive topped with fruit and had a mini cheesecake.
However as long as you are not bored then I don't see any harm in eating it 3 times a day.

Do you have a Safeway? Many carry the no added salt Lucerne.0 -
Thanks y'all
I'm in a very rural part of Germany on a very small military base, so my options are hugely limited.0 -
I once bought Quark instead of cottage cheese because of the sodium in CC. And it was horrible and tasted nothing like cottage cheese. I know in the US they have flavoured Quark, not sure about Germany tho.
I still use quark to make cheesecake instead of philly (German parents), but i just can't eat it on it's own0 -
@Christine_72 yeah, it's definitely not like cottage cheese! It's more like greek yogurt but thicker and creamier.. I just eat the plain kind and add things to it.0

The one I buy is more like cream cheese.... I'm not sure I'd want to eat it that often, but hey, if you like it why not?0
