Newbie with fitbit confusion!

Hi
I'm looking to get fit and lean.
I only want lose about half a stone. My main aim is to build muscle and get lean, not skinny.
I'm looking for some friends with open diarys as would love to see what kind of things people are eating so I can compare my own food diary.
I'm using my fitbit to sync with mfp but it always seems to estimate much higher than I think I have burnt!
Any advice would be greatly received.

Try only eating back part of the calories until you get a handle on whether or not it's over-estimating. Many folks find that fitbit DOES over-estimate. I used to have one, and I always found that in UNDER estimated burn. So it's pretty individual - you'll just need to experiment until you've got it figured out. OR you could turn off the option to allow FitBit to give you exercise calories here on MFP.1
