Hello! I am 22 years old, not overweight, just sort of trying to tone up, and make healthier eating choices. Today is my first day with this app and I'm loving it! I am hoping to start working out tomorrow, I am just totally lost lol. Mainly on the nutrition part. I'm not sure I'm eating the correct amount of calories for my goal, or if I should be eating more considering I will be burning some of those calories off during a work out? I would love to find others either in the same spot, or someone who could help guide me along the way.

There is little guesswork with your calorie goals if you're using a digital food scale to weigh all your solids, and then measure your liquids. Everything else falls into place from there.0

Since you are looking to tone rather than lose weight, you may have to add calories to replace what you lost during your workout. You will probably also want to go heavy on protein to help build muscle mass.0

There is a lot of articles and sites out there with nutritional information. Also so many different styles of workouts and ways of eating. It depends on your preference, what you enjoy and what you're most likely to stick with. I have found great results with strength training for "toning", also Tabata training -just my experience. If you have the money you could invest in a personal trainer. Good luck and keep going0
