So far I've lost just over 60lbs. About 25lbs to go. I started by cutting evetything. That didn't work out well. I was hungry all the time. Them I decided to just cut out added and refined sugars. Tough for 14 days and the weight started to fall off. My tastes changed. I ate fruit instead of cookie bars and the craving vanished. I still have the odd cookie but I can now stop at one....TOO sweet.
Then no decided to cut refined carbs. I switched to whole grain rye bread whole grain pasta and brown basmati rice and hey! every week a small loss
And so I continue. I bake whole grain pastries sweetened with fruits. I eat curries with whole grain rice and I make pasta with whole grain flour. The weight is still steadily dropping. I've found my trigger foods. I cut them drastically and found my ideal forever eating plan. If you're struggling then try this approach. It may well be your ideal plan too. Oh BTW I eat 1400 calories a day and exercise by power walking three times a week for an hour. No gym no weights. I'm 69 and feel 18 again. Good luck on your own personal journey.
