Mornin' Sunshines!!! Just wanted to say hi to all and let you know that you are not alone. Congrats on all the successes! To those frustrated because the scale may not be moving fast enough for you, try to remember, you didn't put the weight on overnight, you aren't gonna lose it overnight. A healthy average rate of loss is 1.5 to 2 lbs per week but try to remember this will not always be the norm. Keep your chin up because you've taken the first step. With today's technology there is tons of information out there on nutrition and such. Use it. Also realize that there will be days when you feel like you've failed. USE it - as a stepping stone not a grave stone. LEARN from it - most of us already know our destructive patterns (mine is being a truly emotional eater). OVERCOME it - remind yourself who you truly are and why you are on this journey of life change. MOVE ON - don't dwell on it, beating ourselves up over one day's downfall is useless and does nothing but promote self-ridicule (another pattern of self destructiveness) You wouldn't most likely talk to a friend that way so don't talk to yourself that way. Above all, remember:
YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! Sooooo, have an awesomely blessed weekend.
YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! Sooooo, have an awesomely blessed weekend.
