I have a Polar Data HRM Watch with the chest band. I wear it whenever I am doing activity, (except for "light aerobics" wink ). For this type of HRM Data Watch, I have to program in my measurements, age, and weight, and I of course update the data as I make progress. I also had to perform a "walk test" to calibrate the watch.

My concern is that the calorie burns the watch records/reports after a workout do seem quite high compared to what others post for similar activity. However, the results I am experiencing seem to coincide, (weight loss, inches lost, etc.)

Can you all share your experiences with data HRM watches and the calorie burns you get from them?

Thanks
