Any fellow musicians out there?
Out of curiosity i checked to see if you burn calories while playing guitar.... apparently you do, even when sitting down.
I am baffled lol

I figure if they have calories burned while playing darts (and they do) playing guitar certainly deserves something too.

Personally I think playing the cello gives me the best workout.

dated a guy who banged on the kit pretty regularly - that **** works up a sweat and i'm sure burns a **** ton of calories.

I play guitar, bass and attempted keyboards. I'm not too concerned about the calorie burn, though. I don't log any of my exercise or other activities.
