Eating burned calories?

So I have a question for you guys out here!
I've been weight training for about 6 months and have started to seriously watch my macros. The question is, if I'm meeting all my macro needs, but I still have extra calories left over that I've burned throughout the day or workout ....can I still eat those calories and see my goals??
Let me your thoughts please.

If you're trying to gain weight then yes you need to eat them back otherwise you're not in a calorie surplus.1

I always eat back my calories. In the past it's been partly my failure to do that which has made it hard for me to lose weight.0
