How much weight gain do YOU typically see during your TOM?
Is there anyone who sees weight LOSS?
This is my first TOM since starting this weight loss journey and my scale isn't making sense to me.

Iv noticed i tend to hold weight for the 2 weeks after my period and im crazy starving. And then i lose it the 2 before/during and i have no appetite. Pretty sure im backwards to most girls XD2

I tend to lose the two weeks prior to my TOM. The week during and the week after, I'll either see a gain or a stall. I just either don't weigh myself or remind myself not to care about what I see on the scale. I've seen a gain as large as 5 lbs-6 lbs the week of my TOM.0

I gain like 3-5 lbs when I ovulate and menstruate. There is only one week out of the month I get a good reading on the scale, and I look lean for one week as well. Otherwise, I'm a big bloaty mess for most of my life.2

Crazy water retention the week before my TOM means I temporarily gain a pound or two. And it all goes to my boobs, and pushes me up a cup size! I've accepted that I'll only lose 3 weeks out of 4!1

Usually 2-3 lbs. And I get the same during ovulation.0

My weight goes up 3-8 lbs.(starting a week before&during)depending on how much sodium I eat_It always comes off within a few days after.0

So for the last week, week and a half, I've been losing weight - just VERY slowly. But everyone tells me I look like I've lost a good bit. My TOM hit this morning and I saw a 0.6 lb weight loss.
Is it possible I'm losing more and the TOM water weight is just making it seem slower?0 -

Yes, most definitely! Anytime I see a loss, no matter how small, when it's the TOM, I automatically know I must've had a good loss for it to show through all of my bloat.0 -
This ⬆️. Exactly. 49 and perimenopausal - the closer I get to menopause, the fewer lean, non-bloated days I have. Ovulation and PMS bloat takes up the majority of my cycle now.0

I actually lose weight right before TOM then it creeps back up steadily for the next couple weeks (before starting to fall again). Just a warning...don't be discouraged if your weight starts to creep back up again. Everybody is different and of course it's the long term trend that matters.
I used to weigh myself infrequently (every couple weeks or less) but now that I've finally figured this trend out I do better weighing frequently.1 -
What is your scale saying and why doesn't it make sense? Some people gain at ovulation and lose at Tom, others gain at Tom. Track it for a few months to see what your personal pattern is.0

Exactly the same for me. I ovulated this week and gained 2.6lbs. There's just one week I lose in.0 -
Track over time...Spot fluctuations
www.weightgrapher.com, happy scale iPhone, Libra android.
I prefer trendweight.com with free Fitbit account (no Fitbit necessary).

I tend to lose weight during my menses. As it happens, today is Day 1 and I am down 2 lbs (which I am happy with, as I am on a calorie reduction). For some reason, I rarely ever lose during the luteal phase of my cycle. Bloating for me occurs around my follicular phase (sucks! ) and my abs always look leaner during my ovulation phase.1

I also lose when menses starts. I continue to drop the week after. Then my weight bounces up and down within my maintenance range.1
