Measuring & logging portions is a great idea. Figure out what things need changing.
But elimination diets have never worked out well for me. Sure I can lose the weight, but if I ever address the problem I regain the weight. Ask yourself, are you willing to give up all added sugars for the rest of your life? Now my mantra is all things in moderation. I allow myself a sweet treat everyday. Typically at the end of the day. I save it for the thing I'm craving.....a 100 calorie pack of Oreo crisps, or an ice cream sandwich.1
