I have lost almost 4st and am only half a st from target, why do I keep doing this to myself.
Tomorrow is a new day and new week, how can I get through without bingeing? I feel like i just need one good week to get ne motivated again. I know i will feel lije crap when i get on the scale tomorrow but in the moment i was just thinking f**k it who cares.

Any motivation would be great.

Are you restricting your food? What causes the binge eat? Have you discussed this with your doctor?

If it's one binge every now and then...it's not really a binge. It's OK to have a high cal day here and there and sometimes even productive for your metabolism if you've been eating at a caloric deficit for a long time.

I wonder whether you've changed your caloric intake as you've lost weight. If you're still eating the same amount of calories you restricted yourself to when you began losing weight, It's possible (I think someone mentioned this) that you're at a point where you should be eating more, for maintenance rather than weight loss, or at least for less aggressive weight loss, especially if you exercise.

You mentioned you've already lost 4st, that's a huge amount of weight and something to be proud of. A half st left is not a lot. At this point, I would be looking at non-scale victories over weight loss, since you've already hit the bulk of your weight loss goal. It could be a new goal like running a half marathon or exercising a certain amount of times per week or trying a new sport or activity.

If you look at where you've come from, I'm sure you've already had many of these milestone moments along the way. You've probably dropped several sizes in clothes and are looking and feeling healthier inside and out. Focus on that progress rather than the number on the scale.

In addition to asking if you're over restricting items in your diet, are you over restricting calories?

Since you're down to the final few points, your deficit should be quite small.

I'm speaking from personal experience here. I have tried to rush to get this last bit of vanity weight off with a too large deficit. It always ends in binge episodes.

You should really be trying to lose no more than half a pound a week at this point.

    ^^this.
I have about 20 pounds to go, and as much as I want to see it come off, one of my binge triggers is too high of a deficit. Patience is key at this point. It may come off slower than you want, but that's still better than the binge-restrict cycles.
I also agree with having non scale goals, so it splits your focus. That way, if you get frustrated with how the scale is moving, you could also be making progress on your fitness and feel accomplishment from that.

I think you've been really successful despite these small setbacks, they can't be that horrible. Maybe just accept them as part of your life. They slow you down a little but don't seem to stop you. Just log it and move on.

I still do it too. I just keep a bigger deficit the rest of the time to make up for those days.

Yor phrasing... Are you really asking for forgiveness? You haven't done anything wrong - nothing morally wrong! Don't punish yourself for eating (a normal, necessary and pleasurable activity) by undereating. Maybe your calorie deficit has been too aggressive? Maybe you need to look at your diet composition?

It could be hormones. You've lost a lot of weight. This has an impact on hunger hormones. Maybe in time, it will settle itself. Our bodies go throw a lot of changes when we gain or lose large amounts of weight.
