I've been reading a lot about people eating their maintenance calories when they need something extra to satisfy them.
How does this work exactly?

If you change your goal to 'maintain' instead of to lose 1/2lb a week, then MFP changes your calorie goal to the amount of calories you need to consume to maintain your current weight (no gain but no loss either).
Sometimes people will eat up to their maintenance to take a break, for a special occasion or any other reason. It's good to be aware of what your maintenance calories are even if you don't plan on consuming them.1 -

So, I changed my weight loss goal from 2 pounds to maintenance just to see the information and now it won't change back. It shows the current goal of 2 pounds on the settings page but not on tomorrow's food diary (and on).
Is there a way to fix this?0
