Pre-workout rituals we all have em let's here them

We all have these and if not completed we all feel like it's because of missing something we usually do. Mine is listen to hustler standard pre-work out drink fat stripper and a muffin

I like to try to take a poop before I go running because otherwise......16

Depends on what time I am working out but if its morning workout, or even afternoon, I def go for a strong coffee, then listen to some music to hype myself in to the workout. 2-3 hours before I def always carb up.2

Good strength caffeine source always help. Going to the toilet usually comes when I know I have some deadlifts or it's leg day3

I change into my cycling gear and braid my hair.3

Have my espresso, put gym clothes on and hair up, put on good house or EDM, have some candy and warm up5

Meat or eggs and a starch an hour before lifting, a stim heavy pwo 30 minutes before. If I'm planning on pushing for a 1RM in a session I'll...erm...you know what? Nevermind.2

Roll out of bed, put on my sports bra and socks (I sleep in the rest of my workout clothes), put my hair in a ponytail. That's about it.4

this could be the secret technique to increase the deadlift to 10+ plates.7 -

Roll out of bed at 4:30, get dressed, brush teeth, QUIETLY sneak into kids' rooms for kisses, then grab a protein shake and out the door.
I drink my shake on my 40-minute ride to the gym, kill my workout, shower, and go to work.
Rinse/repeat the following day x infinity.4 -
Leave work.
listen to all the musacs.
change.
warm up.
Chest bump my bros
yoga stretch annoyingly in the squat rack.

I'm pretty boring when it comes to workouts "rituals"3 -
Another vote for preworkout poo hahaha.
Eat about 2 hours before. Change out of work clothes. Have a peanut butter english muffin about 30 min before. Pee. Light cardio warm up for 5-10 minutes. Start warm ups and pee like 5 more times, especially if I'm about to do heavy deads/squats.6 -
Depends upon what I'm doing. For MMA... chug a strong iced coffee and a bunch of warm water, put on my darkest gym clothes, hoodie and hand wraps, listen to thug music on my way there lol! For dance, chug a strong iced coffee and a bunch of warm water, put on my brightest and sassiest gym clothes and listen to a good Latin beat on the way there. If I am lifting I have a bunch of egg whites and a good protein shake a couple hours before I get there, chug an iced coffee and listen to Slip Knot on the way there haha!0

For lifting:
Change into my workout clothes
Put on my playlist
Rock out a little
Do a warm-up (stretch, a few push-ups, leg raises, a little core work etc) in the squat rack
Take a sip of water
Do the workout
For pole (when I'm at home, not at the studio):
Put my heater by my pole to warm it up about 20-30 minutes prior to my workout
Set up my computer so I can take vids of certain moves to see progress and what changes I need to make to get the move better
Change into my workout clothes, but putting on sweats over those to get my body warmer quicker
Put on my playlist
Rock out more than a little (b/c I'm at home and I don't need headphones and the only person looking at me weird is my cat)
Warm-up (leg raises, squats, downward dog, core work, calf raises, etc.)
Move my heater back into my bedroom
Move my cat out of my way
Do some simple warm up spins
Move my cat out of the way again
Stand in front of the mirror and mouth the words to the current song if the mood strikes me
Take a sip of water
Do the workout (while moving my cat out of the way a few more times)

The night before a race I will make sure I've got all my gear together so I'm not running round in a blind panic the next morning trying to find my Road ID and lucky Bruins hat without waking up my husband.
Race-day breakfast is always a small cup of coffee and a PBJ sandwich. I save my large mug of coffee for after the race because I hate feeling the liquid sloshing about inside me.
Then when I'm standing at the start, I repeat to myself, "don't go out too fast, don't go out too fast, don't go out too fast." And then set off like the clappers when the gun goes off. One of these days I'll learn to pace myself better.

I normally drink a coffee OMW to the gym (4:30am) or have a Rockstar .. depends how I feel... then pre-workout then I just start, I don't really do anything esle, like I warm up but that depends on what day of the week it is... put deodorant on? Does that count?!?! lol2

Depends upon the activity but when I used to play in beach volleyball tournaments, I'd try to eat as much melon as I could stand for breakfast because it would hydrate without making me waterlogged.0

I always remember when I have a good workout and try replicate the same thing each time, I think if I do the same each day or before each workout I will have the same energy/motivation to get me through. A lot of good prework advise on here.0

To be honest I think my pre workout routine has been the same for a decade. While I eat I try to visualize my workout in my head down to every set and rep. I basically have a mental workout before I actually do my workout. The more I visualize, the more I get excited and psyched for it, and hopefully by the time I'm warming up, I'm on autopilot....I do what I think I'll do.2
