The kind that is in season.
Currently Oranges particularly Naval or Cara Cara.
When Apples are in season I go to a local orchard and get varieties that I never see in stores. This years top pick was Autumn Crisp similar to Honey crisp but a little more hard and tart.
Spring is coming soon and it will be berries, strawberries, blueberries etc.
Early summer peaches, nectarines and plums
Late summer pears, honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon.
Early fall Pears, Apples, grapes.
Late fall, Apples Pineapple and grapes,
Winter Oranges and pineapple.

Apples and cherries.
Though, lately it's been little pears and clementines.0 -

I think I found them in the US once in 14 years0 -

I'm really into raspberries
Figs and pomegranate are up there too. I had a nice little harvest from the tree in the backyard around October I think.
Eta: cant forget about guava. They have a nice "kick" to them that I haven't noticed in other fruits.

Watermelon. Of course. Seems difficult to find sweet ones these days.
Afterwards I love all the berries. But I probably eat more bananas than anything.0 -
Fuji Apple, they are 80 calories of sweet flavorful crunchy juicy goodness. When they are in session I eat around one or two a day. They also look amazing since they are so tiny and the skin of the apple is a beautiful light red.0

I'd say berries or kiwi0
-
mango! But they are so expensive so I usually end up with apples.0

Tough choice, but I think I'd go with a pear. But it has to be a tree ripened pear picked at just the right date. It really doesn't get better than a fresh pear at it's peak for me.0

Plum!0

Strawberries. Followed by nectarines.0

Do they ever ripen to sweet or are they supposed to be bitter, or maybe it's just how they taste to me? oh and nectarines... I enjoy most all fruit & would have to toss in avocados and garden tomatoes...so many varieties of them that I love.
But if I had to pick just one? I'd be the ones above!
If you get good raspberries they are sweet! But most of the time I have to sprinkle a bit of sugar on them. Not their natural state but still tasty.0 -
Blackberries0

Tough call between apples (pink lady/granny smith) and blueberries. Only ones I really eat these days.0

They're just yellow plums. I used to find them everywhere in July in France. My grandfather had a tree of them. I like black ones too but it's just not the same.0 -

Yes! We have them! The yellow ones are juicier, stone is small and they have this special multidimensional fresh sweetness, almost flowery undertones. Not sure if it's the same kind you had.0 -
oh my, too many good ones to have a favorite!!
My top 5 would be:
oranges, berries, peach, pineapple, watermelon0 -
Ataulfo mango.
