I quit logging my food everyday, and now I'm back over my starting weight. I need some motivation to restart. :(

Where would you like to be in a year? Where you are now or different?
I choose to push forward every day, one day at a time. I don't want to be where I was when I started. That keeps me going. One day at a time. And remember, it's a marathon not a sprint.
You can do this, you have to believe in yourself.

Why did you stop logging? Even when you're done losing weight you have to keep tracking & logging in order to maintain.

What motivated you to lose weight originally? Why is that not enough to motivate you now? What are you hoping to hear from us that will help you?

When I need motivation I like to look at images because I'm a visual person so I go on Instagram and look at my favorite fitness Instagrammers... here is an image I posted to my feed just today, from left to right its Kelsey Wells, Noel Arevalo, and Robin Gallantt. You can probably tell from this image that my personal goals are not just weight loss but also fitness & strength as well:

Also I have a few favorite YouTube channels that motivate & inspire me, you might want to check these out and see if you like any of them:

    Obese to Beast
    Fat Meets Fire
    Cookie Miller
    Live Lean tv
    Gauge girl training
    Kara Corey fit life
    Bodybuilding.com
    Mike Matthews
    Scott Herman fitness

    Clean and delicious

I also like to think about all my reasons for wanting to lose weight- improved health, longer life, better quality of life, feeling confident, feeling strong and fit, feeling happy when I look in the mirror or see photos of myself, being a good role model for others...

Those are the things that help motivate me anyhow, but you'll need to find your own motivations of course.

One thing I like to mention also is that motivation is good to get you started- or in your case restarted- but determination, dedication, and discipline are what is needed for success long term.

Motivation doesn't last very long so you have to decide to do this, and to keep on going even when you lose motivation because it WILL happen. Also motivation does not equal action, and only action, consistency & compliance will get you results!
