Diet break

I have struggles with an ED in my past. Restricting and then binging. I have been tracking my macros for 5 months now. Tracking my macros has really help with that up until lately. I have felt over whelmed with it and am constantly checking it. Probably over 100 times a day. I'm just always worried about it. Tonight I didn't allow myself to track my dinner because I knew I was falling into unhealthy habits. I have heard about a diet break, where you bump your calories up to maintainance and you don't track but you eat intuitively. I am already in matinance calories, but I was wondering if a diet break might help me? With no feeling so controlled by macros, and would maybe even help me lose weight? Just curious about what everybody thought, and if anybody else had struggled with an ED and felt overwhelmed by macros/tracking.
