Fat belly

ok so ive always been fat but has a small waist. 10 years ago I went from 17.5 stone to 11.5 stone. I lost off my belly arms face etc but hips was most stubborn. 10 years later and 2 kids in I was back at 17.5 stone. Using mfp ive lost 3 stone so half way there. I thought it was in my head but trying clothes on today has confirmed to me that this time im loosing most off my bum and hips then arms and chest. My torso though is not going at same rate. I feel the fat around my back and belly is out of sync. Is this poss or am I going mad? Ive got a really really weak core but just started to brave home Pilates so I can start abs. Do you think my belly is a normal result of babies and never working out after the kids? Any suggestions?

It is very possible your fat patterns change over time.
The question is; are you seeing loose skin or actual fat in those areas?0 -
If I am doing my math correctly, you are around 200 lbs right now (17.5 stone less 3 stone.) It is possible for fat patterns to change but you are also heavy enough that you're not going to see a big difference in your midsection yet.0

I've always lost weight in my stomach, last, but now at age 50 it seems exceptionally stubborn. However in the past I'd never let myself get up to the weight I started at here, 188. I'm now about 161 and the deposit over my stomach is going, but very slowly. Just keep at it and don't give up. Core exercise will shape you and make you stronger but you can't spot reduce fat. And that being said I find that high intensity work kind of shocks my system a bit and I experience more "wooshes". Almost as if "shake it off" is a real thing. Not sure how to explain it but adding my old step aerobics and getting my heart rate up higher is giving me better results then just strength work.0

Im 35 years old 203lbs and 5ft 8
It's defo fat not loose skin.
So probably just keep going as see then?
Just can't believe hips are 16 and belt 18 now when I was always hourglass and waist 2 sizes smaller than rest of me0 -
I always lose in my face and chest first. What I found this time is at periods when my loss slows the fat gets redistributed. So maybe the scale isn't moving much but suddenly the waistband on my pants gets looser. Give it a bit of time and see if your body starts to move things around.0
