Those of you that try to get walk a certain number of steps per day: how do you stay motivated?

It's COLD out and I'm having trouble doing it just for the sake of getting it done.

Since my motivation would come and go, I kept working on my step goal until it became a habit. Now I get it in without really thinking much about it. There are now very few times I don't reach my goal, but when it happens (because life happens), I just move on and get back to it the next day. When it's cold out, I'll pull up a walking video on YouTube (there are lots on there) and get my steps in that way. For me it's mind over matter. Best of luck in reaching your goals! :)

Worked on my step goal until it became a habit. Took a month or two. I get almost half of my 10000 at work then the rest walking my dog every evening. Now, I have to get 10000 most days of the week out of habit no matter how tired I am or what the weather is like.
