Hi everyone!

I really struggle with trying to lose the last 10lbs. I'll lose a couple and gain it back. We are going on spring break in 8 weeks and I really want to feel more comfortable in a swim suit.

Any suggestions on how to lose this stubborn last 5-10lbs in the next 2 months? I really appreciate it!!

Thanks!
Lauren

It comes down to being very consistent with your deficit, even if you go several weeks without scale movement. If you *know* that you are eating in a deficit, you have to have faith in the process and accept that there is often a delay between incurring that deficit and seeing the results on the scale.

I have been eating in a deficit since January 1. It wasn't until last Wednesday that I had any scale movement at all and then it was a drop of 2.5 pounds overnight. I've been holding steady at that new weight since then. It really just requires a lot of patience when you are close to your goal.

Eat at a small deficit (half a pound a week) and log as accurately as possible.

It really comes down to consistency. If you dial in your efforts (nutrition and exercise), you'll make better progress. Unfortunately, there are no quick fixes for this. I would suggest that you really think about WHY you want to hit this goal. A solid WHY will help you to find the determination you need to get after it :)
