So I signed up on Myfitnesspal last Friday. Absolutely love the site and already made some friends.

I recently started the Ketogenic diet and it's going fantastic. I had to make some serious changes in my life. Last August, I suffered a "minor" heart attack. I smoked like a chimney and seriously let my health decline.

Last week, I decided enough is enough. I owe it to my children, my Wife and my family to become as healthy as I can.

So far I've lost almost 10 pounds. Granted most of it was water weight those first few days, but my diet is working and I am going to make progress.

290 was the heaviest I have weighed. My end-goal is to get down around 200 lbs. It'll be a long road but I know it'll be worth it.

I hope everyone hear will keep me honest.

    It's all about creating new habbits and I think this community and my fitness pal is a great way to build those habbits. Family is also a great motivator to staying healthy :) best of luck!
