Hi, I have had no period for a month now. I went from 260 to 320 pounds. The last time I weighed this much was 2 years ago and my periods stopped for almost 4 months. I started working out and eating less and they came back on its normal schedule.

Yes. You can stop having periods from excessive weight gain or excessive weight loss. Here is a kicker.. I started this a month ago.. NO weight lost. I went from couch potato to walking 2 miles EVERY day and went from not paying attention to what I eat (other than to realize it was a lot of soda and junk food) to being WAY more careful. No weight loss, gained 6 lbs but lost 3 of that.. and.. NO PERIOD. I was pretty regular too. But I already know that any sudden extreme changes in ones activity can cause it so Im just chillin and enjoying the break! I wish I could break it forever! I hate those things!1
