Media Diet

I've been reading more Andrew Weil than usual lately and one of things he strongly recommends it taking a break from watching or reading the news.
After spending quite a bit of time online or in front of the television over the past few weeks, I've decided to enjoy the next week of nice weather (keep your fingers crossed, the heat wave is supposed to break for us tomorrow sometime) on a media diet. I will log my steps and my diet in a notebook instead of online so that I don't go completely off the rails, but for the next week, I will be computer free.
I hope to spend more time being active and less time thinking about being active -- right after I log in to record what I ate... and check facebook... and read the news ... and...
Here's to a week of computer freedom. Wish me luck.
