I started my weight loss journey Christmas of 2015. I kept lying to myself before that. See I have had two children, and gained 60 lbs w each. I have always been able to lose all my pregnancy weight, and then some with basic, old school calorie counting. That's how I found this app. Well, after my 2nd son, I was sitting around 128-134, always...got so good at calorie counting, I stopped actually counting....and weighing in...after 2 years of being a size3/4 that is. Well, a divorce later...and getting into a fabulous loving relationship...guess what? He started cooking for me, all the time. What happened? We both got HAPPY FAT. So back to Christmas 2015...we took some pictures, and I looked at them, and said... ok, cant lie anymore...my upper arm is as big as my thigh used to be a year ago. So I sucked it up and got on the scale. I never cried so hard I don't think. At 5'2, the scale read back 192. How could I go from 130 something to 1 ninety something without REALLY noticing? Happy fat. It's a *kitten*. So, I started excersizing. Re downloaded this app, and began. I work out 5-6 days a week. 40 minutes on the elliptical-409 calories a day. I count calories, stay between 1200-1500 a day. I love 100 calorie yogurt, flavored English muffins, frosted mini wheats, peach tea crystal lite. My bad food: DT MT DEW. I drink them wayyyyyy too much. So anyway, now..almost exactly 13 months since I looked at that photo, I am in the BEST shape I have EVER been in. I put my pre pregnancy body to shame. I have lost exactly 60 lbs. I have 12 to go as of today 1/31/17. One thing I did this time, that I've never really done after either child is excersize. You HAVE to excersize! I am writing this because I have hit the dreaded plateau. Just staying the same fir a whole month! Not an ounce, so I thought blogging it might help me connect to other people in the same position. My Dr prescribed me phentermine (sp?) , took it one day, and it definitely suppressed my appetite! I'll update soon!
