This was the first picture I saw of my recently adopted Emma - she was picked up and brought back to mostly healthy by Corridor Street Rescue in Houston - she's heartworm positive and not recommended for the fast/intense treatment but we're giving her the best life that we can for however long we have her (the slow kill method seems to be working, but her life expectancy is much shorter than it should be).
I think she's settling in nicely LOL
Resting up after playing with her favorite toy
She's my precious baby - don't let that grey mug fool ya, the girl has A LOT of energy and isn't letting her nasty heartworms get her down.

This is my Wilson! He's a basenji/kelpie mix and is a hoot! I'm obsessed with him and his new little (much older) pug sister. [post edited by MFP mods]3 -

Taco is my old man. He will be 12 in August and was a birthday gift from my husband the first year we were married.
Lola is our rescue. She is almost 5 and is a total snuggle bug. We have had her since she was about 5 weeks old and was about to be "disposed of" by a moron acquaintance. We took her in along with a sister who we found an awesome for.
And finally there's this psycho. Pumpkin is about 6 months old and is a spoiled rotten princess. Her full name is actually Princess Pumpkin Kit Kat and her favorite thing in the world is knocking crap off tables.2 -

Wow! Your dog is huge! What breed?
He is a Bernese Mountain dog! Currently a big pudgy at 145lbs, but working on getting him down to his ideal of 130-1351 -
