Hi
I'm Diane and will be restarting tomorrow. I'm looking for some friends with more than three stones to lose for a bit of motivation. I currently weigh 15:8lbs :cry: I'm 47 yrs old and really need to sort my issues with food out, I find it totally controls my life every day, it has to stop.

    Hi there Di,

    I've been doing MFP for a little while now and I had food issues when I started. I.m now rarely over my calorie goal of 1360 and I'm losing weight consistently. The first few weeks will be VERY hard if you like me, basically ate whatever I wanted all the time ( I mean like full English breakfasts, fast food, regular take away, weekly slap up restaurant meals etc was me all over). But a little, no actually a heck of a lot of self discipline and you will adjust to eating less and feel less hungry as time goes on.

If you want to add me, I'm not the sort of friend who just congratulate you every day, I'll offer real world advice from my own experience, but won't be critical if you have had a bad day.

    One piece of advice I can give you for MFP to work, is BE HONEST with your logging, you would be surprised how quickly calories can add up.
