How can I track my daily Calorie intake when I cook my meals from scratch? This is proving increasingly difficult.

You just add everything your cooking. Like 5ml oil. 86g onion. Keep listing until you have finished.
The longer you log the quicker it becomes as the foods stay in your diary.0 -
I create my own recipes in the app. Just measure/weigh and input all of the ingredients you are using. I usually guesstimate how many servings and than adjust it afterward once I actually see the end result. It works really well since trying to cook separately for me and my husband was a huge pain. MFP will save your recipes so if you've taken the time to enter it once you can pop back in and reuse it again. It is also very easy to adjust if an ingredient changes.1

You can type in your ingredients in a recipe and log it that way. I have done that for some things and it seems to work well.
Good luck.0 -

Use the recipe builder. It's a must use tool if you're doing your own cooking. Once you've used it a bit it takes no time at all to pop in a new recipe. I use it all the time.0
