I'm getting discouraged and need to get back to where I was at things at home changed and that has impacted my daily routine I had going and etc. I'm also getting stressed out as I'm trying to eat better and all I see come in the house is cakes, cookies, chips, and etc that's not gonna help me in anyway. Please feel free to friend and we can support or chat each other Ali g the way to our goals.

Smack that crap out of their hands! lol, I know the feeling. My dad loves junk food... chocolate cakes, tons of sugary cereal, makes brownies all the time and makes chicken tenders and fries almost every other day, which is my weakness. Heck, he started making chocolate chip cookies in the middle of my workout! All I could smell was cookies, so distracting. Anyways, I know exactly how you feel. What helped me the most was setting up a meal plan. I found how many carbs, fats, and protein I need to eat a day, did a lot of looking around for good healthy foods to eat that would fit into my plan, and now I eat the same meals every day (You don't have to, it just makes it easy to meal prep this way), and I genuinely love the taste of every meal. Lost 20 pounds in 2 months. Look up "If It Fits Your Macros", I live by this now0

Surround yourself with motivation. I have this exact issue. They even buy me junk food and guilt trip me when i don't want to eat it. My father use to do this every night as soon as i started, he also would stop me from doing work outs, so i moved out (That was the first time i started to lose weight). I usually cook every night now and I've been cooking everyone healthier versions of things they will enjoy and I eat a smaller potion of it. There is a good 10lts of ice cream here at any given time and a few KGs of chocolate, bags and bags of potato chips.. the list goes on. But i don't eat it unless i measure it first, record it in my diary and it fits.
I changed my desktop picture to the worst fat picture of me ever, next to me back when i was fit. Every time i start up my PC i see it and it reminds me to log on here daily. I've also made it a habit to not eat anything until it's logged in my diary, so that i get use to eating exactly what i planned on eating. Try to use this site as much as you can, make friends, motivate and support one another and join a challenge or 2 and be an active member.
Every time you have the urge to binge on the junk, log on here and talk to your friends about it We've all been there. I started at 244lbs I'm down to around 197.5 now and My goal is around 125-135lbs. You're welcome to add me0 -
I'm with you but I have been guilty in the past. I started in Sept to lose and am down 52 lbs with another 27 to go. Right now I'm having a little trouble with the scale moving so I will eat different things today and see if it makes a difference. I was hoping my children would join me on this weight loss, one has no interest , the other says yes but doesn't follow thru. I've even offered to take them anywhere on a vacation after the 1st 50 lbs drop. So now I am concentrating on me.0

It's okay to throw stuff away. (Not that I'm good at doing that.) As goofy as it is, there is some food that I find myself thinking that if I finish it off then it won't be around to sabotage me. I made this cake from a box the other day. It tasted pretty nasty, but I ate it anyway. What I should've done was just throw the thing away.1

Yep, if you're having trouble resisting things in your house, then don't have them in your house. Putting in place some safeguards to help you stay on track is a great thing to do. When I'm really working hard at getting after a goal, I don't buy certain things that I have trouble saying NO to.
