Hey, my names Stuart and I'm pretty new to all this healthy eating and exercise.

My main goal is to loose a weight to begin with and then bulk up my torso area and my arms.

If anyone reading this knows of any tips, recipes or exercises to help me out I would appreciate it.

Feel free to post on my profile, add me as a friend (cause who doesn't love friends, lol), message me and reply on here

Thanks

Stuart (' ',)

Me too. I'm in calorie deficit until I can see ALL my abs then I'm going for packing on some muscle.

I got a twinge in my shoulder end of December so I made January 'Leg Month' to rest it. Lots of cardio/HIIT too with only light bodyweight exercises for upper body - just to keep from wasting away!

Am doing DareBee's [www.darebee.com] '30 Days of Strength' workout for February and building up shoulder slowly. Weight's coming off at around 3lb per month which means by my birthday I should be at ideal weight.

    Tips:

Read as much as you can from different sources - there's so many conflicting views on diet and exercise.

Basically, if you're a bloke over 30, you want to throw some weights around, eat lots of lean protein, drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep. Simples.

Weigh your food and track your calories. Men's eyes are renowned for not being able to estimate 'size' correctly! :-)

    Good luck.
