Any other diabetic quadriplegics out there?

Hey,
I'm Lorraine from Ireland and looking for help to lose weight. I'm paralysed from chest down and in wheelchair 3 years, also type 2 diabetic. Finding it extremely difficult to lose weight. I've gained since being in the chair. Anybody else in a similar situation? Thanks
