Getting back at it!

Hi all just trying get back into lifting again. Took a 2-3 year break and when I stopped I wasn't doing macros or calories or really anything I was just kinda working out lol. I want to gain weight because I know muscle doesn't appear out of thin air. So i'm trying to gain weight and build muscle and other than just DOING the exercises i'm lost, just looking for some help. I currently am trying to use macros to follow what i'm eating but I feel like i'm doing it wrong.
