    1. I lived in a 4 room shack with no running water (no indoor plumbing), no electricity, for a year when I was 7-8
    2. when money was tight we would use lard and a strip of linen as a candle to light the room
    3. I would walk a mile to the well and back with 2, 1 gallon glass jugs for water

    1) I'm considering an elective surgery to improve my quality of life
